The Armourdillo® Annex provides extra protection from the rain and snow when you’re getting in and out of the tent, sorting out your gear below, or cooking a meal outside. Extending 900mm beyond the base of the Armourdillo® Rooftop Tent, it also provides a sense of spaciousness and indoor-outdoor flow.

The Annex has been engineered to seamlessly attach to the entrance of the Armourdillo® Rooftop Tent using a zip, glide rails, and high-strength velcro. 

The shape and structure of the Annex is provided by a single air beam, which can be quickly inflated using the Bushbuck Armourdillo® TX High-Pressure Pump (included with the Annex).

We’ve used air beams in our Armourdillo® accessories range for several reasons. They’re quick and easy to set-up and pack down; they’re just as strong and sturdy as traditional alloy poles; they’re lightweight; and they’re a “built-in” solution, so you have fewer parts and poles to worry about.

The Annex is made from durable Oxford 150D fabric with a 3000mm waterproof rating (the same as the rain cover for the rooftop tent) and is equipped with three windows, so you still enjoy that trademark Armourdillo® outlook.

It’s secured to the ground using two heavy-duty nylon webbings and pegs, which keep it at a 180° angle.

When you’re ready to hit the road, the Annex can be conveniently folded into the rooftop tent and stored beneath the hard shell, saving on set-up time at your next campsite. The Annex can be combined with the Armourdillo® Wall Body to create a fully enclosed, waterproof room for additional shelter and privacy. It also attaches to the Armourdillo® Airbeam Tent with adjustable buckles and webbing to create a seamless, multi-room camping experience.

Note: There are two sizes available, 1.5m and 1.9m, to match the size of your Armourdillo® Rooftop Tent. Compatible with all Bushbuck Armourdillo® Rooftop Tents.
