Sammi Holland

Sammi Holland is a keen hunter, fisher, and outdoors-woman who's an enthusiastic advocate for hunting in New Zealand. She spent most of her life in the small town of Dunsandel, south of Christchurch. She's always been into the outdoors, starting with fishing, eeling and shooting small game such as rabbits when she was young and graduating to big game hunting as a teenager.  "I love everything about being outdoors and no matter the time of year there is always something to go after," she says. "I try to make the most of everything like free diving, white-baiting, fishing, small game, waterfowl and big game."  Her favourite place to explore is the West Coast of the South Island. "There's just something about that beautiful place that always feels like home."
